Mybet chooses Dictao for Schleswig-Holstein testing
France-based business tasked with ensuring licensee is compliant with IT requirements in German jurisdiction.

Schleswig-Holstein licensee Mybet has selected Paris-based company Dictao for IT compliance testing ahead of its operation and marketing of sports betting activities in the German Land.
Formerly known as Jaxx before rebranding earlier this year, the Kiel-based operator was among the first wave of operators to be licensed in the jurisdiction along with Betfair and Die NordwestLotto.
Edward Mifsud, managing director of mybet subsidiary PEI Ltd, said: “It is of an upmost importance for us to comply with Schleswig-Holstein IT requirements, and we look forward to working with Dictao to enable our players to confidently bet online.”
Mybet is the first Schleswig-Holstein licensee to announce its compliance testing partner. A total of 12 operators have been awarded licences in the jurisdiction, with Ladbrokes and 888 among the most recent.
Ralf Stegner, head of the region’s ruling SPD party, explained in July that it would be ultimately abandoning its licensing regime and falling in line with the German State Treaty, but Schleswig-Holstein has continued issuing licences since that announcement.
