NYX Interactive launches mobile casino suite
Provider names Leovegas as first client to integrate portfolio of casino games for mobile and tablet devices.
Swedish provider NYX Interactive has announced the launch of its ‘Move’ mobile gaming offering, with mobile casino operator Leovegas as the first client to sign up.
The ‘Move’ platform is powered by NYX Open Gaming System (OGS) technology and gives clients access to a selection of casino games developed for smart phones and tablet devices.
Leovegas has launched an initial set of five NYX Interactive mobile casino titles: The Snake Charmer, Ramesses Riches, Big Foot, Doctor Love and Irish Eyes. The game portfolio will continue to grow with the addition of new content providers and further releases from existing partners, NYX Interactive said in a statement
David Flynn, CEO of NYX Interactive said of the launch: “This is yet another new chapter in the unfolding book of NYX as we premiere our first set of game titles for mobile and tablet devices. Via NYX OGS our mobile content is seamlessly delivered to our licensees, without the need for any upgrades or changes on their behalf. “
Philip Kellin, spokesperson for LeoVegas, added: “Offering the greatest games both for mobile devices and has been a cornerstone in building the game changing success of www.LeoVegas.com. With MOVE powered by NYX OGS we are further accelerating the phase of bringing new exciting games to our players.”
The launch comes almost a year after NYX Interactive purchased games content provider NextGen Gaming for an undisclosed amount to form NYX Gaming Group. The acquisition saw the Australian company’s portfolio of games, including Medusa and Mad Mad Monkey, grow to more than 300 games with 40 customers, on top of NYX’s existing bingo, lottery and casino offerings.
Since then NYX Gaming Group has made its first foray into social media, developing the virtual credits-based Facebook app SlotsPoint. The group revealed that the app, developed in-house, is the first to feature its social media gaming suite.
Last month NYX Gaming Group agreed a deal for GeoComply’s geolocation services, allowing the gaming platform supplier to confirm the physical location of players who are using Apple and Android devices.
