
Unibet hires agencies for UK advertising campaign
Albion will handle UK advertising account with Goodstuff hired to oversee media planning and buying.
Unibet has appointed two new media agencies to manage its £2m UK advertising account in preparation for a new campaign launch in 2013.
Goodstuff and Albion will collaborate on Unibet’s marketing strategy, product design, brand and performance marketing in the build up to a new ad campaign next year.
In May, Unibet acquired rival Scandinavian operator Bet24 from Modern Times Group, as it looks to challenge former monopoly Danske Spil’s market leading position.
Unibet is one of a handful of operators to be awarded a sports betting licence in Belgium, having been cleared to offer sports betting through its Unibet.be domain in July, five months after submitting its application to the commission.
