Betfred named as Tottenham's UK betting partner
Deal is third between a Premier League club and egaming operator to be announced this week.

Gibraltar-licensed egaming operator Betfred.com has been named as the official UK betting partner of English top-flight football club Tottenham Hotspur.
The three-year deal will give the operator exclusive UK branding rights across the London club’s online, digital, mobile and social media platforms.
Tottenham, which finished last season in fourth place in the Premier League and will play in the UEFA Europa League in the 2012-13 season, also announced Fun88 as its Asian betting partner in a two-year agreement.
The club has previously held partnerships at various times with Sportingbet and Mansion “ the former was announced in 2010 and was brought to a close at the end of the 2011-12 campaign.
Tottenham’s deals are the third and fourth signed between Premier League clubs and egaming operators this week, following Manchester United’s three-year deal with bwin and Everton’s UK and Ireland agreement with Paddy Power.
Betfred.com commercial director Rakesh Chablani said of the deal: “Tottenham Hotspur are a massive, globally recognised brand and I’m very confident our newly established partnership with them will reap huge rewards for our business.”
The deal will see the operator work alongside the club to develop a “football analyser”, aimed at providing fans with analysis of Tottenham’s performances and prospects, and the club’s head of global partnerships Tracey Keenan said: “We are looking forward to working in partnership over the course of the next three years to deliver a number of exciting and engaging consumer campaigns, which will help drive its UK business.”
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy (pictured) noted that the Fun88 deal was “The first time the club has signed a regional partnership in Asia and is largely down to the significant increase we have seen in the growth of our international fan base over the last few years.”
The Fun88 deal comes just weeks after the operator signed a pool betting deal with Kambi, and founder Nick Lee said of the partnership with Tottenham: “We are looking forward to working with the club to launch a new bespoke betting microsite.”
