Selin to leave Bodog Europe
Move follows sale of Bodog Poker Network to Bodog88 " Selin will assist with handover.

Bodog Europe chief executive Patrik Selin will step down from his role following the sale of the Bodog Poker Network (BPN), eGaming Review has learned.
The sale of BPN to Philippines-based Bodog88, reported by eGR yesterday, was brokered by Selin who has experience of similar transactions having sold the Ongame network to bwin for £474m in 2005.
He told eGR this morning that he is “Still in the handover process, so will leave soon”, but was unable for further comment.
Selin, former president and CEO of Ongame, took over as chief executive of the Bodog Poker Network in 2009, at which point he committed to “Build one of the largest and most reputable poker networks in the world.”
The network currently contains the poker offerings of Bodog88, which moved towards a recreational poker model with the introduction of anonymous tables in March this year, along with those of Bodog Europe, Bodog.ca and Bovada.lv, owned by Morris Mohawk Gaming Group which rebranded last December.
Last year saw Selin became CEO of Bodog UK as the British-facing subsidiary prepared to launch after being awarded a remote sports betting licence from the UK Gambling Commission. He will also relinquish his duties here once the ongoing handover process is completed.
Having set up a UK office towards the end of last year and begun a strong recruitment drive, Bodog laid off about half its staff in the country this April as part of a restructuring process following a lengthy period of “market analysis”, the company said at the time.
