IGT to supply online casino games to Loto-Québec
Gaming machine manufacturer announces deal to provide Canadian lottery operator with more than 30 games this year.
International Game Technology (IGT) has agreed to supply Loto-Québec with online casino games for its EspaceJeux.com gaming site.
IGT will initially provide four games, available in English and Canadian French, for Loto-Québec’s Montreal servers. Later this year, 16 further games will be made available from a server in Kamloops, British Columbia, and users will have access to the complete IGT game library.
More than 30 video poker and casino-style games will be made available by the end of the year.
Robert Melendres, executive vice president of IGT, said the agreement is evident of the company’s commitment to the North American online and mobile market.
“Convergence is crucial to the future of North American casino gaming and IGT is in the best position to provide the many options operators such as Loto-Québec are looking for as they expand their operations,” he said.
The deal follows an agreement signed between IGT and Ladbrokes, which will see the UK operator integrate the service provider’s games into its casino and games portfolio, announced earlier this month.
