Trickett ends Titan sponsorship deal
Highest earning English poker player will be sponsored by Matchbook in this summer's $1m buy-in One Drop tournament at World Series of Poker.

Sam Trickett, the highest-earning English poker player in history, has ended his sponsorship deal with iPoker skin Titan Poker.
Making the announcement on Twitter, Trickett said: “Me an [sic] Titan have decided to part ways. I have enjoyed representing them and they was a [sic] absolute pleasure to work with. Thanks again Titan….”
The 25-year-old player also revealed yesterday that he would be taking part in the $1m buy-in ‘Big One’ tournament at this summer’s World Series of Poker, held to benefit charity One Drop Foundation. He will be sponsored by Matchbook for the tournament, after the Alderney-licensed betting exchange received the necessary approval from Caesars Entertainment and ESPN.
Another Titan-sponsored player, Marvin Rettenmaier, has also ended his relationship with the site. Both Trickett and Rettenmaier had extended their deals with Titan last June, and Trickett spoke to eGaming Review at the time to discuss the changing world of poker sponsorship in the aftermath of Black Friday.
German national Rettenmaier was one of 10 players to take part in iSeriesLIVE, the live event held by Poker Royalty in partnership with Paddy Power.
