Lottomatica live casino launches in Italy
Evolution Gaming provides live online casino service - first solution of its kind to be approved by Italian regulator AAMS.

Evolution Gaming’s live online casino service has gone live in Italy with Lottomatica, the technology provider has announced this morning.
The choice of its live casino product “ the first solution of its kind to be approved by Italian regulator AAMS, has enabled Lottomatica to “rapidly add” real-time online casino table games to its lottery, instant win, VLT and sports betting operations in Italy, the company said in a statement today.
Three dedicated Lottomatica tables will offer a mix of live roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat games to Lottomatica customers. The tables are staffed by a team of experienced native speaking Italian dealers.
Gianluca Ballocci, internet gaming director at Lottomatica Group, said: “Evolution Live Casino fits perfectly with our strategy of maintaining leadership in regulated gaming markets and pursuing opportunities that enhance the value of our brand.”
Gionata La Torre, chief executive of Evolution Italy, added: “We are delighted to have helped Lottomatica add live casino to its already impressive and wide-ranging line-up of gaming and lottery products. This launch is creating massive interest and adding huge incremental revenue opportunity for Lottomatica in one of Europe’s most exciting markets.”
The deal comes just days after Evolution extended William Hill Online’s live casino offering with the launch of a dedicated VIP area.
At the beginning of March Evolution launched a dedicated room for Unibetfollowing on from the live solution it provided the operator three years ago.
The system upgrades the existing live games offering at unibet.com to five dedicated tables including one live roulette and four live Blackjack tables.
A month earlier Evolution signed an exclusive deal with Dutch operator Oranje Casino to supply two localised live casino tables, a strategy that it first implemented in Italy with bwin.party’s Italian subsidiary Gioco Digitale, becoming the first live casino to be approved by Italian regulator AAMS.
