NetBet approved for sports and poker in France
Regulator ARJEL provides accreditation for parent company Itechsoft.
French company Itechsoft has received approval from French regulator ARJEL to offer poker and sports betting in the EU member state under its NetBet brand.
Under the terms of its licence it is permitted to serve customers via the netbet.fr, netbetsport.fr and netbetpoker.fr domains.
NetBet is one of more than 60 operators to have applied for a Spanish egaming licence, but may have to wait a little longer to hear whether its application is successful following the resignation of Spanish regulator Juan Carlos Alfonso.
ARJEL’s latest rulings also include approvals for Winga and SPS Betting (both for poker), Betclic (sports) and France Pari (fixed odds and pari-mutuel sports betting).
