The past 12 months have been some of the most challenging in gaming with Black Friday topping the list of hurdles affiliates have had to overcome.
Not only that, revenue share deals are constantly being squeezed while uncertainty surrounding who will win out and how newly regulated markets, such as Spain, will perform are putting affiliates under more pressure than ever before. However, many have invested in other niches or diversified in order to find more traffic.

Its players have been paid US$16m in loyalty and rakeback payments since the site launched in 2008, although much of work is done in private via Skype and IM. Provides industry news through sister site PokerUpdate.

Edwards, brother of Trevor of Sunlight-bingo fame, may only be a relative newcomer to the affiliate space but is making waves with his mad about brand. Diversifying into casino.

Owned by Barcelona-based online advertising and affiliate company Mico 8 Ltd. The site provides news of promotions and new game releases and has recently expanded its reviews section to cover mobile casinos.
Online Casino Reviewer
Founder/Principal: Dave Sawyer
Domains: onlinecasinoreviewer.com, footie-online.co.uk, casinos-online.co.uk
Launched by Sawyer in 2004, the site achieves a consistent rate of traffic but most recently has been used to leverage media deals for the newly founded Footie Online. The latter draws around 15,000 unique visitors each day and features news on English football.
