Everleaf pledges to repay players
Poker network makes first statement since pulling out of US following a payment processor seizure.

The Everleaf poker network has pledged to repay American players, two weeks after pulling out of the US market, it has announced in a statement.
A representative of Minted Poker, one of the larger skins on the network, relayed the statement on the Two Plus Two poker forums, providing details of the payment processor fund seizure which preceded the network’s withdrawal from the jurisdiction.
Everleaf explains in the statement: “To our knowledge, the US authorities seized these funds [from the payment processor] and blocked the transactions based on purported violations of certain US laws, including operating an illegal money transmitting business, the Wire Act, and money laundering.”
The network reiterates that “this seizure occurred in the United States and only affects US players,” adding that it “[W]ants to reassure all the effected players that all the funds will be refunded in full and the effected parties will be contacted in a short while accordingly.” The amount was undisclosed.
According to Pokerscout, Everleaf has lost 16% of its cash game traffic in the past week. The network contains more than 100 skins, including Minted Poker, Pokerari, Erevan Poker and Piranha Poker.
