Buzz Sports launches in Europe with PlanetWin365
Austrian operator becomes Leeds-based developer's first European customer
Buzz Sports has launched its ZonePlay in-play betting product with Austrian operator PlanetWin365.
Buzz Sports chief commercial officer Ian Williams said the deal would allow PlanetWin365 to enhance its live betting offering: “We are very happy to be working with PlanetWin365. They already had a strong in-play offering, but the introduction of ZonePlay now gives their customers chance to get involved with every twist and turn of live games. It will keep customers coming back for more, and increase the stickiness of their website.”
The deal marks Buzz Sports’ first move into Europe. Currently ZonePlay is only available for football, tennis and cricket, but the product is to be expanded to offer odds on baseball and basketball this year.
Buzz Sports were the winners of the sports betting innovation award at the 2010 eGR Awards.
