Stars' Rush Poker equivalent could launch in February
Development of "fast moving ring games" is progressing, with a Beta launch on the way.

PokerStars could be set to beta-launch its new “fast moving ring games” in February or early March, a spokesman for the operator has announced.
Posting in the Two Plus Two poker forums, a representative known only as “PokerStars Stefan” explained that “Development is progressing, but we won’t be able to have beta in January as we hoped.”
Stars, which topped the latest edition of the Poker Edge scorecard from Gaming Edge Associates, looks set to become the third party to go live with a product similar to Full Tilt Poker’s ‘Rush Poker’, after FTP itself and InstaDeal.
InstaDeal founder Per Hildebrand told eGaming Review in an interview last year that Rush Poker was “never patentable” despite FTP’s pursuit of patents for the product.
