Amaya signs licensing agreement with Aristocrat
Three-year agreement covers online and VLT content.
Canadian service provider Amaya Gaming has signed a three-year licensing agreement with a subsidiary of Australian solutions provider Aristocrat Leisure.
The deal, organised through Amaya’s subsidiary Chartwell Games, will see a number of Aristocrat titles licensed for use online and on video lottery terminals (VLTs).
Darcy Krogh, VP business development for Amaya, said: “This agreement strengthens Amaya’s position by supplementing our existing online gaming content with Aristocrat titles which are well known among casino customers worldwide.”
Krogh also noted that: “A number of jurisdictions around the world are considering regulatory changes that would allow new domestic gaming websites to operate”, a pertinent point given Aristocrat’s application for a service provider licence in the newly-regulating Nevada egaming market.
