GameAccount signs US free-play Aristocrat deal
Deal to roll out platform for US casino clients of Aristocrat "important step in preparing for regulated Internet gaming in the US", says Smurfit.

GameAccount Network has signed a deal with gaming machine supplier Aristocrat Technologies to provide a free-play egaming platform on behalf of its US casino clients.
The platform and range of free-to-play slots, table games and skill games, including poker variants, will be made available to “selected corporate clients” of Aristocrat in the US and will include online versions of Aristocrat’s most popular land-based slots.
GameAccount Network’s managing director, Dermot Smurfit (pictured), said: “Free-play online games are an important step in preparing for regulated Internet gaming in the US. Enabled by our highly compliant and certified Internet Gaming Platform, Aristocrat’s land-based casino operators will attract free-to-play games communities in advance of any expected regulation.
“Based on our experiences in Europe, those free play games communities will readily convert to real money gaming in due course,” added Smurfit.
Aristocrat’s managing director of emerging business & strategy, Sam Nickless, said the deal represented “a natural evolution” of his company’s existing relationship with GameAccount.
“[It] gives our US corporate clients access to a compliant Internet Gaming Platform that can be deployed, with their own branding, to extend their existing player relationships into online entertainment. Prior to anticipated regulation, various non-gaming income generating opportunities will be explored with our corporate clients.”
Game Account launched its internet gaming platform last September, welcoming Blue Square, Mecca Bingo and GCasino operator Rank Group as its first UK client. The UK-based company this month launched real-money casino table games in Italy for Snai.
