US circuit court of appeal rules that judge erred in former Team Full Tilt member's original case.
A US circuit court of appeal has ruled that poker player Cycalona ‘Clonie’ Gowen’s lawsuit against Full Tilt‘s software company Tiltware was wrongly dismissed. Gowen, a former member of ‘Team Full Tilt’, made claims against Tiltware for breach of contract, and against founders Ray Bitar and Howard Lederer for allegedfraud and negligent misrepresentation. According to the Las Vegas Sun, US District Judge Robert Clive Jones was deemed to have erred in his initial judgement against Gowen, and her case has now been reopened as a consequence. However, the court stood by Jones’s initial dismissal of other claims brought by Gowen against further individuals supposedly tied to online gambling companies.
Pokernewsdaily, Protos Marketing’s news and affiliate site, has been put up for sale. The company’s CEO Adam Small posted on the PokerAffiliateListings website that – if an acceptable offer has not been made by 15 June – Pokernewsdaily.com and fellow Protos site PokerTerms.com will be auctioned on eBay.
Gibraltar-based spreadbetting business ProSpreads has launched a new equities trading platform allowing customers to bet on individual stocks on the FTSE 100 and Eurostoxx 50. The company had previously only offered spread bets on the major indices, commodities and currency markets.
GTECH G2 has signed a deal to integrate Bet Tracker‘s mobile technology into its sportsbook platform. The deal follows a similar agreement between Bet Tracker and OpenBet in March.
