bwin.barty digital entertainment has begun trading today with an opening share price of £1.94, after the completion of the merger between PartyGaming and Bwin.

The newly combined entity of bwin.party digital entertainment began trading today with an opening share price of £1.94, after the merger between PartyGaming and Bwin was completed.
The merger has also brought about a handful of changes at senior management level, with Simon Duffy “ whose appointment was announced in October “ formally taking over as chairman today.
Jim Ryan and Norbert Teufelberger begin their new roles as co-CEOs, and in a joint statement the pair said: “We are delighted that our merger is now complete so that we can start with the integration of our businesses and capturing the synergies we have already identified.”
The board of the combined entity is roughly evenly split between Bwin and Party members, with Bwin’s COO Joachim Baca reprising his role with bwin.party and former PartyGaming finance director Martin Weigold named CFO of the group.
