Evolution unveils Romania's first live casino studio
Live casino supplier partners iSoftBet as it expands into the recently regulated Southeastern European market

Evolution Gaming has partnered with iSoftBet to launch the first live casino studio in the newly regulated Romanian online gambling market.
The live casino supplier will unveil the studio facility at the Grand Casino Bucharest later this month and will initially offer a selection of its most popular games streamed via desktop, tablet and smartphone.
James Stern, director business development and land-based sales at Evolution Gaming, said he was confident the supplier would find success in a market which has recently seen a flurry of new entrants.
“We are very excited to be launching an additional studio and always had the goal of being the first live casino provider certified to go live in this newly regulated market,” he said.
“With our track record of successfully deploying remote studios in other new jurisdictions such as Spain, Belgium and Italy, we are confident that we can achieve another âfirst-to-market’ success for licenses looking to operate in Romania.”
Nir Elbaz, CEO of iSoftBet, added: “Expansion in regulated markets is one of our key goals and our licence in Romania with over 60 certified games is a true testament to that.
“Partnering with Evolution will allow us to sell a multi-product offering in the market.”
News of the partnership comes after Evolution earlier this month announced Q2 revenues had soared 50% year-on-year to 27.1m, with EBITDA up 38% year-on-year to 10.6m.
