Playtech boosts omni-channel offering with BetTracker app
New product aims to give punters the “sociability of the local bookie” combined with online technology

Playtech’s BGT Sports division has launched a new app that lets customers transfer their SSBT bets to their mobile phones.
The new BetTracker app lets retail punters scan their betslip into their phone, enabling them to track and cash out their bets.
“We’re pleased to introduce BetTracker, a revolutionary product which will provide a real boost to the retail sector, improve the user experience, and increase operator revenues,” said John Pettit, UK, Ireland and Australia managing director for Playtech BGT Sports (PBS).
“We appreciate that some shop customers prefer anonymity and don’t want online accounts. Others like the sociability their local bookie offers. This solution caters for both, bringing the technology that is now routine online into retail estates for the first time.
“PBS continues to drive innovation in the retail space, and we look forward to seeing BetTracker transform the betting experience for customers in all shops up and down the country.”
BetTracker, which is built on the same platform as BGT’s in-shop SSBT terminals, is now available on Apple and Android.
