Cherry’s online gaming arm to adopt ComeOn brand
Operator says the rebrand will “re-emphasise” the division’s operational independence

Cherry’s online gaming arm is to be rebranded ComeOn as part of the ongoing integration of the two businesses.
The rebrand of Cherry iGaming will take effect from 1 April, in a move designed to “re-emphasise” the division’s operational independence.
“By clearly branding this business area we are being even more clear and specific about how we build shareholder value, while supporting and acknowledging the diverse needs of each of our business areas,” Cherry CEO Anders Holmgren said.
Cherry acquired 49% of the ComeOn business last May, before agreeing to buy the remaining 51% of shares in December.
ComeOn CEO Jonas Wahlander added: “We are building a business area, merging Cherry iGaming and ComeOn with a number of brands within it and setting a new unified culture and actionable values.
“We weren’t able to point to any brand alternative being on par or better than ComeOn. It’s a great name and perfectly summarises our cultural attitude.”
The acquisition helped Cherry record a 294% rise in online revenues during Q4 2016, while ComeOn’s overall revenue also increased 29% YoY.
Cherry continues to work towards a Nasdaq Stockholm listing by the end of Q1.
