GVC boosts bwin casino portfolio with NYX deal
Operator to gain access to more than 1,000 games via the supplier’s NYX OGS platform

GVC has extended its partnership with NYX Gaming Group to supply its bwin brand with more than 1,000 new casino games via the supplier’s game aggregation server.
The deal will see bwin integrate the NYX OGS game aggregation platform, providing the GVC brand with access to titles from NYX’s NextGen Gaming studio and over 40 other third-party studios.
NYX’s OPS platform has been used by a number of GVC’s B2C brands, including Sportingbet, since 2014.
GVC Holdings CPO Liron Snir said: “This is another big step towards our objective to build the best casino in the market. NYX are a premium developer and we are thrilled to be able to offer their highly popular games to our players.”
David Flynn, NYX CCO added: “This partnership is extremely important to NYX, representing a firm endorsement of NYX OGS and emphasising the vital role it plays for the industry’s most successful operators around the world.
“It also reaffirms NYX’s commitment to building our partnerships and maximising the relationships across a number of different areas to deliver optimum value to our clients.”
Gaming within GVC’s sports labels division saw an 18% boost in NGR to €320.8m in 2016, due to improved cross-sell and a larger portfolio of content.
Last month, GVC’s CEO pledged to return the brand to number one in Germany, the group’s best performing territory since 2016.
