
William Hill communication director to speak at next week's EGR Breakfast Briefing
Ciaran O’Brien will discuss how to improve the industry's reputation alongside Rank Group, ASA and Gordon Moody Association


William Hill group communication director Ciaran O’Brien has joined the list speakers for next week’s London EGR Breakfast Briefing, which will discuss how the gambling industry can improve its public image.
The addition of O’Brien has completed what is a strong line-up with The Rank Group director of compliance and responsible gambling Richard Wade also set to join the debate, which will be held on 4 May at the Hippodrome Casino.
The panel will also feature the Advertising Standards Authroity’s regulatory policy manager Malcolm Phillips and former Panbet operations director, now head of gambling therapy at Gordon Moody Association, Pedro Romero.
The discussion will be moderated by Regulus partner and former Rank strategy director Dan Waugh.
Furthermore, prior to the panel discussion there will be a presentation from Dave Roberts, director general at the Alcohol Information Partnership, who’ll share how his organisation rebuts inaccurate press reporting of the alcohol industry.
