Kindred’s UK team moves into new South Bank office
Operator’s 375 London-based staffers relocated on a temporary basis ahead of opening of new office in Wimbledon

Kindred Group’s UK-based team has moved into a temporary office ahead of the planned opening of the operator’s new London office later this year, EGR Intel has learned.
The company’s 375 UK staffers relocated yesterday to the interim accommodation in London’s South Bank district and will be based there until autumn when Kindred moves into its new office in Wimbledon.
Alexander Westrell, Kindred’s group head of communications, told EGR Intel the move to South Bank had proven “very smooth with no disruption to the business or organisation”.
“Staff engagement is very high which we are very happy with, as we wanted to create a temporary office location that would be seen as both fun and inspiring,” he said.
“We now look forward to a summer on the South Bank before we move into Kindred House back in Wimbledon,” Westrell added.
The new Kindred House office is scheduled to open later this year and will be based next door to the operator’s old office in Wimbledon, South London.
The opening of Kindred’s new UK office was previously announced by CEO Henrik Tjärnström earlier this year, and also coincides with the firm moving into new offices in Gibraltar and Malta.
Kindred is to move its Gibraltar office in Marina Bay Square next door into the new World Trade Center building, while in Malta it plans to take up three floors in a brand new building.
Today’s news comes after the company recently completed its £175.6m acquisition of 32Red following approval from Great Britain’s Gambling Commission.
