Rank eyes £8m savings with new Maidenhead office
New location contains merged digital teams and centralised support functions

Rank has moved into a new support office in the TOR building in Maidenhead in a strategic effort to reduce costs and encourage collaboration across the group.
The new office consolidates the operator’s old Maidenhead operations with its London Victoria office, and merges the digital division into one operational team.
The new office will also contain a centralised support team.

The changes are expected to save the firm around £8m in H2, with much of the saving coming from the closure of the Victoria office.
“These changes, along with strong control of discretionary costs, are expected to deliver cost savings which equate to 2.5% of our cost base,” a spokesperson told EGR Intel.
“The integration process has run smoothly and we are pleased to be up and running in the new office,” the spokesperson added.
In a post on his LinkedIn, Rank director of talent acquisition Nick Boothroyd said: “It will be interesting to see how the dynamics change and how the increased availability and insight gained will benefit how we do business and interact with each other.”
