
Marathonbet to sponsor Brighton Festival of Racing
Operator given naming rights for six races, with branding to be displayed prominently around the course


Marathonbet will sponsor the 2017 Brighton Festival of Racing from 9-11 August, the operator announced this morning.
The company’s branding will be displayed prominently throughout Brighton Racecourse during the event, with the operator also putting its name to six races throughout the three-day Festival.
The Brighton-based firm also pledged to “work in partnership with Brighton Racecourse to bring exciting and unexpected experiences to racegoers” through online competitions and offers.
“Horseracing is one of the most-loved and frequently-watched sports in the UK, making our decision to partner with Brighton Racecourse an easy one,” said Viktor Hoffmann, Marathonbet CEO.
“As city neighbours, we already recognise how the beautiful views and action-packed cards at Brighton make for a brilliant day at the races. Together with the racecourse team, we’re committed to championing that message further to new and wider audiences.

The operator has been increasing its focus on horseracing in recent months, topping the Oddschecker acquisition rankings during the Cheltenham Festival, with 11% of new customer sign-ups across the entire site.
