BetVictor taps into Liverpool partnership with new slot launch
BetVictor has launched a Liverpool FC-themed slot game as the operator looks to utilise its betting partnership with the Merseyside club.
The three-reel, five-win line LFC Stars slot was developed by content supplier Realistic Games and unveiled in time for the new Premier League season.
The game features Anfield favourites Roberto Firmino, Georginio Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana, as well as club captain Jordan Henderson.
GoWild secures UK licence
GoWild has announced plans to launch in the UK after securing a licence from the UK Gambling Commission.
A company statement said the move was “a marked step forward in the company’s express goal of further expanding into regulated gaming markets”.
GoWild CEO Itai Zak added: “The UK is one of the biggest, oldest, and most respected gaming communities in the world, and operating there will allow us to increase our exposure, reach new audiences, and improve the local gaming experience.”
888 announces “long-term” extension to Kambi sportsbook deal
888 Holdings has announced a “long-term” extension to its sportsbook provision deal with Swedish supplier Kambi.
The multi-year contract extension will see Kambi continue as the main technology provider for the 888sport brand.
Kambi CEO Kristian Nylén said: “We are delighted to continue building on the successful partnership we have had with 888sport over the last four years and look forward to further contributing to its future growth.
Betfred follows Lads Coral with racing media rights deal
Betfred has announced a new media rights deal with The Racing Partnership (TRP) to stream Arena Racing Company (ARC) meets in the company’s UK betting shops after a seven-month stand-off.
The agreement will see Betfred’s 1,668 LBOs stream racing from 15 ARC-owned racecourses, as well as seven independent racecourses, and coverage of South African Racing.
The news comes just weeks after Ladbrokes Coral also ended its own long-running media rights dispute with ARC, agreeing a “first of its kind” profit-sharing deal for a reported five-year period.
Bulgaria National Lottery chooses Kambi for sportsbook switch
Bulgaria’s national lottery operator has switched its sportsbook provider from BetConstruct to Kambi in an effort to become the “country’s number one sportsbook”.
The new deal, announced Thursday, will see Kambi provide its full sportsbook solution to National Lottery AD’s online 7777 brand.
National Lottery said the switch, scheduled for Q4, would allow it to compete with international tier one sportsbook operators.
