Sky Betting & Gaming selects SBTech platform for Germany push
Sky Betting & Gaming (SB&G) has selected SBTech to be its new platform provider in Germany as part of a landmark deal designed to aid the operator’s international push, EGR Intel has exclusively revealed.
The agreement will see the Leeds-headquartered operator utilise the supplier’s pricing, trading and risk management services, as well as its CRM, payments, reporting and automated bonusing tools.
“The deal with Sky Bet consolidates our position as the market-leading provider of sportsbook and platform solutions for premium operators,” Richard Carter, CEO of SBTech, said.
Paddy Power joins Hong Kong Jockey Club pari-mutuel pools
Paddy Power shop customers will be able to bet into Hong Kong’s giant pari-mutuel racing pools following a new co-mingling agreement between the operator and the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC).
Paddy Power joins Betfred, Coral, Ladbrokes and William Hill with access to the pools, after the companies began accepting the tote-only wagers on Hong Kong racing in November last year.
“We are thrilled that Paddy Power have joined our growing list of co-mmingling partners in time for the 2017/18 season,” said George Irvine, co-mingling development director at Hong Kong Jockey Club.
Rank drives omni-channel efforts with live casino “dual-play” product
Rank is planning to boost its omni-channel efforts by launching a “dual-play” live casino product available to both retail and online customers, EGR has revealed.
Rank CEO Henry Birch said the new product will see live casino games carried out in one of the Grosvenor casino sites and beamed online for digital customers to play simultaneously.
“That should highlight to our retail customers the existence of our digital product and conversely gets our digital customers to realise that we’re the largest casino operator in the UK,” Birch told EGR.
Betsson makes major live casino investment to “push growth even further”
Betsson has announced the launch of its newest live casino product, developed in partnership with Evolution Gaming.
The offering follows a targeted investment and renewed focus into the vertical, which has resulted in 14 additional blackjack tables and a new Immersive Lite roulette table.
The operator will launch the product across its main casino brands in October alongside a promotional offer.
Malta Gaming Authority “enhances” licensing process with online application portal
The Malta Gaming Authority has set up a web portal for egaming licensees to monitor and track licence applications and other licensing requirements.
The portal will enable operators to apply for egaming licences online, request Dynamic Seal URL requests to ensure their servers and hardware meets legislation and submit player liability and tax reports.
An MGA statement said the ‘New Licensee Relationship Management System’ would help licencees “meet regulatory requirements more efficiently” and “enhance a two-way communication between the authority and its customers”.
