A round-up of the biggest deals, hires and product launches from egaming suppliers over the last seven days, including NYX, Quickspin and NetEnt


NetEnt has signed a customer agreement with gaming operator Caliente for the regulated online casino market in Mexico.
The agreement means that NetEnt will supply a wide selection of its award-winning games to Caliente’s online casino in Mexico. Caliente is the largest online gaming operator on the regulated market in Mexico.
Björn Krantz, managing director of NetEnt Americas, said “I am very pleased that Caliente has selected us as a business partner for online casino. They are a true frontrunner in Mexico, and a major player within the regulated online gaming space. Microgaming has launched two new slots ahead of the Halloween period.

Blackjack, roulette, and Perfect Pairs & 21+3 are all now accessible to William Hill’s customers, after the games were made available via NYX Gaming Group on the Games tab of the operator’s website.

Global Gaming has appointed Nigel Balcarres as the company’s new head of compliance for its ever-expanding Malta operations.
Balcarres has more than 30 years’ experience in the betting and gaming industry, where he has been involved in all aspects of jurisdictional solutions to create and maintain sustainable relationships with operators.
He joins Global Gaming from NetEnt, where he previously held the position of compliance officer for more than three years. He played a pivotal role in securing the company’s first UK licence, and was responsible for managing compliance with the jurisdiction, in addition for the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), Curacao and its Asian operations.
NYX Gaming Group has agreed to integrate OIA Services LTD, an Italian operator that holds brands including Betaland and Enjoybet, to its award-winning NYX OGS (Open Gaming System).
The deal will see Betaland significantly expand its offering with the addition of the OGS suite, including NextGen Gaming’s leading titles such as DoublePlay SuperBet, Gorilla Go Wild, and the recently launched Glorious Empire.
The launch with Betaland is the latest deal NYX Gaming Group has clinched in Italy, having recently expanded its presence in the region with Unibet and GoldBet.
