Betsson signs DFS deal to help “broaden target audience”
The operator will integrate Scout Gaming’s fantasy sports platform across all its brands

Betsson Group has signed a deal with Nordic DFS provider Scout Gaming to integrate the firm’s fantasy sports platform.
The operator’s director of gaming, Andy Broughton Braithwaite, said the product would help broaden the firm’s target audience and increase loyalty in existing players.
The product will be offered across the operator’s entire brand portfolio and is expected to be fully integrated by 2018.
Broughton Braithwaite said: “Scout Gaming not only offers a wide selection of sports but is also able to support local and niche events, which is important to us.
“Scout also offers the largest European liquidity network, which was an important consideration in our selection process.”
Scout Gaming CEO, Andreas Ternström, added: “The agreement confirms that daily fantasy sports is rapidly gaining ground and is expected to be the next online gaming growth vertical.”
Elsewhere, Scout Gaming is planning to launch its IPO next month on the Nasdaq First North stock exchange in Stockholm.
The listing is expected to aid financial growth and enable the firm to expand into new markets.
