Lottoland unveils “world-first” Bitcoin lotto betting

Lottoland has announced the launch of what the bet-on-lottery claims is the “world’s first” Bitcoin lotto jackpot.
The Bitcoin Lotto initiative will offer UK players the chance to join the Bitcoin boom and flavour of the month in the fintech industry as the currency continues to rise at meteoric rates.
The jackpot is seeded at 1,000 Bitcoins, which equates to approximately £14.1m.
Bitcoin Lotto follows the traditional lottery format of choosing 6 numbers from 49 balls, but players are almost ten times more likely to win on the 14 million to 1 Bitcoin jackpot than the EuroMillions.
Jackpotjoy agrees favourable 10-year service deal with Gaming Realms
Jackpotjoy (JPJ) has entered into a 10-year service agreement with Gaming Realms, which will see the games supplier provide the online bingo operator with a range of real-money content and services on favoured terms.
As part of the decade-long deal, JPJ will get original content from Gaming Realms’ Slingo offering and the two firms have also agreed on the launch of JackpotHappy.com, a white label bingo site powered by the Gaming Realms propriety platform.
The Jackpotjoy Group has also entered into a secured convertible loan agreement with Gaming Realms totalling £3.5m.
Industry analyst Paul Leyland of Regulus Partners said of the agreement: “We see this as an attractive deal for JPJ on three levels.
Yggdrasil signs Rank and Eurobet.it deals
Cherry subsidiary Yggdrasil Gaming has signed two B2B deals with major operators Eurobet.it and Rank Group.
The Swedish firm will supply its portfolio of HTML5 slot titles to the Ladbrokes Coral-owned Italian brand and Rank’s Mecca and Grosvenor subsidiaries.
The deals include Yggdrasil’s in-game promotional tools, BOOST, and BRAG social sharing tool which enables players to share their scores on social media.
Both partnerships will aid Yggdrasil’s expansion into the Italian and UK markets.
myLotto24 launches in UK with Spanish lotteries marketing stunt
Lottery betting business myLotto24 marked its UK launch with an ambitious marketing stunt this week.
British punters will be able to bet on ‘El Gordo’, an annual lottery taking place on 22 December and to mark the occasion a fat-suit wearing mascot dubbed The Fat-ador was paraded around London.
Translated literally as ‘The Fat One’, Spain’s El Gordo 2017 draw has an estimated prize pool of €2.3bn, the biggest of any national lottery.
