GIG expands Copenhagen team with office build
GIG Denmark set for major development after 2017 acquisition of performance marketing business Rebel Penguin

GIG is moving its Danish branch in Copenhagen to a 1443sqm office building, currently being redesigned from scratch to house 105 employees.
The operator is expanding in Denmark following its acquisition of performance marketing company Rebel Penguin in September 2017, with the office move scheduled to take place before Easter 2018.
Rebel Penguin, which has since been renamed GIG Copenhagen, was purchased to enhance the company’s sports betting capabilities ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
GIG Denmark general manager Jonas Warrer said the new office location was chosen for its history; the building was built in 1883 and used as a merchant storage unit, and later became a Velcro factory.

The office move is scheduled for March 2018
“I’m so happy that we have this opportunity to expand our work environment in this building,” said Warrer.
“We truly have big ambitions for this office and our growing family of Copenhagen GiGsters.
“I’m looking forward to the new talent we’ll be able to fit in, which will certainly help us to make our dreams come true, challenging the ordinary in a daily basis.”
GIG PR man Alexander Ohnmeiss added: “It was not the easy solution, as the whole office has to be rebuilt.
“But it gave us a chance to make it exactly how we wanted it. It is crucial for us to have an office where there is room for both work, but also for socialising.
“Everybody today spends so much time on their work and it is important for us as a company that we take very good care of our people.”
