Magnus Alebo leaves operator’s Malta subsidiary after three years to pursue other ventures

Hero Gaming’s Malta subsidiary CEO, Magnus Alebo, has stepped down from his position, EGR Intel has learned.
Alebo spent three years at the Malta-based operator where he helped develop the firm’s multi-brand strategy and expand the staff from ten to over 90 team members.
In a post on his LinkedIn page, Alebo said: “I am both very proud and sentimental when reflecting back on the adventure.
“But cheese keeps moving, life is too short, and it´s time for new adventures.”

Alebo’s final day came last Friday.
Hero Gaming founder and group CEO Georg Westin said he was honoured to have worked with Alebo.
He added: “Building the company with a steady hand and being a fantastic wingman you shall be very proud of this time! Thanks for being into it as much as me.”
In January 2017, the firm promoted head of games, and former Betfred business development manager, Steve Wells to the newly created position of chief commercial officer.
