Former LeoVegas exec launches new casino and sportsbook
Goliath Casino is built on the Aspire Global casino platform, with plans to launch the supplier’s first sportsbook in March

Former head of online acquisition for LeoVegas, Marcus Adler, has launched a new Malta-based online casino venture dubbed Goliath Casino.
The new brand is built on Aspire Global’s casino platform and will be the first site to launch the supplier’s sports betting solution in March.
Adler told EGR the new venture will set itself apart from a crowded marketplace by focusing on high customer conversion rates, having drawn inspiration from the wider entertainment industry, including Netflix.
“Our aim is to have the best looking site we could have. Historically we have spent the most time and money on creating the best conversion sites.
“Even though it’s not igaming, Netflix is our role model when it comes to creating a product.”
The CEO said his background in working for Swedish sports and TV streaming network C More would inform his work at Goliath Casino.
“Since I’ve been selling sports for the last 12 years, we can add the experience we have from betting and with that we have a really perfect set up for creating a betting and casino site,” Adler said.
Goliath has partnered with Swedish digital marketing agency Morgenland to develop the website and market the wider brand.
The operator has initially entered the UK and Scandinavian markets but would also consider moving into Canada.
Aspire Global VP of sales, Jov Spiero added: “The team behind Goliath Casino has extensive experience from the gaming industry and the Nordic market in particular, and we are confident in their ability to materialize this opportunity.”
The platform went live last Friday on goliathcasino.com.
