
Lottoland secures Italy launch with Giochi24 acquisition
Lottoland CEO Nigel Birrell says Italy is a “vibrant and growing market with huge potential” after the operator purchases majority stake in online gaming site


Lottoland has launched in Italy after purchasing a majority stake in online gaming operator Giochi24.
Italian players can now play lotteries including SuperEnalotto and 10e Lotto as well as instant win games, scratchcards and casino and bingo games on the operator’s new site, www.lottoland.it.
Giochi24 has been licenced in Italy since 2008 and Lottoland’s portfolio of gambling licences now includes three in the UK, two in Gibraltar and one in each of Ireland, Australia and Italy.
