Betclic to hire 50 staff in new Bordeaux office for 2019
French operator keen to increase headcount after completing move to Bacalan-based Whoorks office

Betclic will hire 50 new staffers in the first quarter of 2019 as the French operator prepares to move into a brand new office space in Bordeaux.
The company currently employs approximately 200 staff in Bordeaux and all of them will move into the newly-developed Whoorks office in the Bacalan region of the French city next year.
Betclic will occupy the top two floors of the 8,000 square metre office building, which was designed by the Legendre Immobilier construction group.
“The concept of Whoorks allows us to see and have more space if necessary to support our growth in the coming months,” Betclic CEO Nicolas Béraud told Bordeaux’s La Tribune.
Betclic’s growth plan includes hiring 50 employees for the Whoorks office in 2019, including IT developers, engineers and marketers.
“The move to Bordeaux has now been proven and enabled us to convince staff having recruited from Bordeaux, but also people from Sweden, Italy, Portugal and Poland,” added Béraud.
The French operator also employs around 300 support staff in Malta for a range of services from finance to customer service.
