
GVC unveils new Bingo 3.0 platform in Italy
London-listed believes platform “now the best in the market” and recruits Lottomatica as new B2B client


GVC has revamped its bingo offering in the Italian egaming market after launching a new platform to serve the its B2C brands and B2B clients.
The new platform, called Bingo 3.0, was redesigned to ensure full compliance with new Italian bingo regulations and is now live across GVC’s portfolio of brands and its 27 partnering operators.
Improvements to the platform include HTLM5-based front-end lobby software and enhanced graphics to offer a “fresh, contemporary look and feel”, according to the operator.
GVC has also integrated new localised game variants including Italia30, a quick-play 30-ball game and Zaffiro75, which offers 1, 2, 3 and 4-line prizes.
The new HTML5 client also allows players to download mobile apps, replacing the “static native apps” that were previously on offer.
GVC COO Shay Segev said: “We are excited to unveil our new Italian bingo platform which we believe is now the best in the market.
“We are confident our customer’s will love the new games and player experience, while the technical capabilities of the platform means that we are ideally positioned to adapt to any new technical requirements.”
Italian retail giant Lottomatica has also joined the GVC bingo network as a result of the launch in a deal that brings additional liquidity to the player base.
Bwin Italia MD Moreno Marasco added: “The fact that Lottomatica has joined our network is a huge vote of confidence in the new platform and extends our position as the number one bingo operator in Italy.”
