FSB suspends 1xBet white label following Sunday Times investigation
Russian operator linked with illegal streaming, cockfighting and a “pornhub casino”

FSB has frozen the UK site of its white label partner 1xBet after the Russian operator was linked with illegal streaming, cockfighting betting and a “pornhub casino” by a Sunday Times investigation.
The UK-facing site was suspended over the weekend, after The Times claimed the Russian operator’s global activities allegedly included “promoting a pornhub casino that enticed gamblers with topless croupiers, bets on children’s sports and advertising on illegal websites”.
1xBet has faced scrutiny in the past for being advertised on illegal streaming sites and has thrust itself into the spotlight in recent months following betting partnerships with Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea.
The UK Gambling Commission confirmed it is making “ongoing enquiries” into the operator and its relationship with FSB.
FSB declined to comment further when contacted by EGR but told The Times it was reviewing its deal with 1xBet
The provider has always taken pride in its “whiter than white” reputation, with CEO David McDowell telling EGR last month: “We’ve always focused on regulated markets and we have grown more slowly from some of our competitors who have happily taken money from black markets and ploughed that into their B2B offering.”
