UK bookie strikes first ever European marketing deal to promote Spain launch
UK bookmaker Betfred has bolstered its presence in Spain after securing a two-season sponsorship deal with La Liga outfit RCD Mallorca.
The deal is Betfred’s first outside of the UK and will see the operator sponsor the club’s jerseys and training kit, while prominent Betfred branding will feature inside the San Moix stadium.
Betfred has set up a new office in Ceuta after being granted a licence to operate in Spain.

Betfred CEO Fred Done said: “The agreement with RCD Mallorca is the first partnership we have made outside of the United Kingdom.
“The deal to be the principal partner of the Spanish Club is one we believe will assist our planned expansion both in Spain and internationally.
“I’m delighted with the agreement and I feel that we are joining a club that continues to grow and look forward to being part of an exciting season ahead,” he added.
