
Bet365 dominates Italian online sports betting rankings for October
Stoke-headquartered operator retains the top spot as SKS365 hires a new gaming director


Bet365 has topped the rankings for Italian online sports betting in October, as the operator’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) hit €8.4m for the month.
SKS365 secured second spot with GGR of €8m, finishing ahead of Playtech-owned retail giant Snaitech which ended the month with €7.8m.
Goldbet (€5.6m) and Sisal (€5.4m) rounded off the top five, while Eurobet failed to hit €5m in revenue for the first time since July.
Bet365 once again dominated the rankings for turnover last month after raking in €230m, working on a margin of 3.6%, beating closest rival Snaitech, which turned over €76m.
The Stoke-headquartered betting giant seized 29% of market share as a percentage of turnover in October, once again ahead of Snaitech (9.6%), Eurobet (9%), SKS365 (8.5%) and Sisal (7.8%).
Overall GGR for Italy’s 18 biggest online betting operators totalled €52.5m last month.
In related new, SKS365 today confirmed the appointment of Stanleybet’s Gianluca Porzio as its new director of business development and gaming.
Porzio will lead the retail team’s business development and gaming office and will report in to company director Luca Grisci.
Grisci said: “Recruiting an experienced and competent figure like Gianluca will surely help SKS365 in reaching our increasingly ambitious goals and offering innovative and safe ways to bet.”
