Bet365 retains top spot in November online sports betting rankings
UK betting giant records monthly turnover of €204m as Eurobet climbs back into the top five
Bet365 has topped the rankings for Italian online sports betting in November, as the operator’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) reached €8.3m for the month.
SKS365 finished the month narrowly behind bet365 with GGR of €8.2m, ahead of Playtech-owned retail operator Snaitech which ended November with €7.7m.
Sisal (€6.7m), Eurobet (€6m) and Goldbet (€5.1m) rounded off the big six, while Lottomatica was the best of the rest after bringing in €2.9m.
Bet365 once again dominated the rankings for turnover last month after raking in €204m, working on a margin of 4.1% and beating closest rival Eurobet which turned over €73.2m.
The Stoke-headquartered betting giant accrued 28% of market share as a percentage of turnover in November, once again ahead of Eurobet (10%), Snaitech (9.9%), SKS365 (8.5%) and Sisal (8.5%).
Overall GGR for Italy’s 18 biggest online betting operators totalled €55.4m last month, nearly €3m ahead of October.
The Italian government recently indicated there would be a new tender process for online operator licences before the end of 2020.
