Sportech extends relationship with Irish Greyhound Board
Technology provider to afford IGB access to best-in-class Tote betting software

Gambling technology provider Sportech has extended and upgraded its partnership with the Irish Greyhound Board (IGB) on a multi-year deal.
Under the remit of the new partnership, UK-based Sportech will continue to provide IGB with its Tote betting solution and upgrade IGB’s current Series 7 Tote to Sportech’s Quantum System.
Sportech will also continue to develop greyhound racing-specific features for IGB as part of the extension.
Sportech’s Quantum System is the most widely deployed Tote betting software globally and will now give IGB access to new pools and markets from around the world.
Joe Lewins, director of Tote and wagering at IGB, said: “The IGB is happy to be making this important investment in our betting operation with the upgrade to Sportech’s Quantum Tote and look forward to delivering an overall improved betting experience to our players.”
Bruno Gay, Sportech’s VP of sales and business development for EMEA, added: “Sportech are very pleased to extend the power of Quantum System to IGB and to offer them the pools, market reach and operational tools to help them maximise their potential. We look forward to a continued strong business partnership with IGB.”
Earlier this week, Sportech completed the acquisition of gaming technology outfit LOT.TO Systems Ltd.
