LeoVegas to open Gibraltar office
Stockholm-listed operator hiring for legal positions on the Rock ahead of new office opening

LeoVegas will open a new office in Gibraltar this year, EGR Intel has learned.
The new office has been described as a “small investment” by LeoVegas chief executive Gustaf Hagman, with between eight and 10 LeoVegas staffers operating from the Rock at present.
The Stockholm-listed operator is currently hiring for a Gibraltar-based in-house legal counsel position on its careers website.
When pushed for comment on the move, LeoVegas communications director Hans Uhrus said: “LeoVegas has offices in numerous countries like many other big gaming companies.
“One of the main challenges for gaming companies is finding the best talent, and there are many competent people living in Gibraltar. We are looking all over the word to attract the best competence to LeoVegas to be able to become King of Casino.
“Malta is the operational heart of LeoVegas and will continue being so. We managed to get hold of more office space in the building we are sitting in and therefore we do not need to change premises,” he added.
LeoVegas remains committed to Malta despite ditching its planned move to an upgraded office on the island in a bid to achieve annual cost savings of €3.7m.
