Lottoland launches UK-first charity lottery game
Lottery betting operator to donate proceeds to four charities including British Red Cross

Lottoland has unveiled a first-of-its-kind UK charity lottery game where 20p of every £1 bet will be donated to four UK charities.
Each bet of the Win-Win Charity Lotto will cost £1 and the jackpot will be fixed at £250,000 for every draw.
Donations are being made to four charities: The British Red Cross, Hospice UK, Keep Britain Tidy, and The Marine Conservation Society.
Lottoland has said it chose these charities as they are representative of the sector and the number of charities may be increased in the future.
The game format and results are to be based on the popular French Lotto, with draws taking place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
EGR understands the game will initially be rolled out in the UK, but will be launched in Lottoland’s international markets at a later date.

Win-Win will donate to four charities initially
Lottoland CEO Nigel Birrell said the Gibraltar-based lottery betting operator wanted to support amazing causes in the UK at this challenging time for the sector.
“The whole team at Lottoland are excited to see the launch of the Win-Win Charity Lotto, it’s something we’ve been working on for some time and absolutely feels like the right step for the business,” said Birrell.
“We believe we’ve found a good balance, as the respective charities will all appeal to a different audience and yet are all equally, immeasurably important in what they do,” he added.
