FSB recruits former Kambi CCO as chief revenue officer
Industry veteran Ian Freeman joins in finance-based role after 18 months at IGT

FSB has recruited B2B industry veteran Ian Freeman to be its new chief revenue officer (CRO).
Freeman joins FSB from supplier IGT, where he spent 18 months as VP of business development and commercial, during which he worked at the firm’s PlayDigital division, overseeing its B2B sports and online casino operations.
He has also worked in chief commercial officer roles at B2B supplier EveryMatrix and spent five years at sports betting tech supplier Kambi.
As FSB’s new CRO, Freeman will be responsible for creating and deploying business critical strategies and developing its sales and business development teams.
He will be based out of the company’s London office and will report directly to CEO Dave McDowell.
“We continue to build up our impressive senior management team at FSB and Ian is the latest piece of that jigsaw,” McDowell said.
“He will also play a central role in further establishing FSB in the markets we are currently active in and also put us in the driving seat to succeed in new jurisdictions such as the USA,” McDowell added.
Freeman joins recent FSB hire Bob Akaret, who joined as a US-focused VP of operations in November.
Former SG Digital account director Glenn Elliott joined the business as COO in August after four years working within SG Digital’s OpenBet brand, with former Catena Media head of horseracing Chris Graham joining as its new head of marketing.
“I am really delighted to be joining FSB at what is a hugely exciting time for the business as it looks to increase growth in both new and existing markets around the world,” Freeman said.
