
William Hill launches Mr Green brand in Latvia
Gaming brand goes live to complement existing 11.lv sports betting operation


William Hill has boosted its presence in Latvia with the launch of the Mr Green brand in the market.
The London-listed bookmaker already powers the 11.lv brand in Latvia and has added Mr Green to the portfolio after obtaining a licence from the country’s Lotteries and Gambling Supervisory Inspection.
Mr Green will provide a more casino and gaming-focused experience for Latvian consumers, whereas the 11.lv brand is a leader in the country’s online sports betting market.
William Hill CEO of Latvian operations Janis Tregers said: “Our aim is to leverage the award-winning brand that Mr Green is in combination with our know-how of growing the business in the Latvian market.
“Though 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, we see that there is great underlying growth potential for online casino entertainment.
“We have used it to develop what we feel is a great and competitive product,” he added.
William Hill bought Swedish online casino operator Mr Green for £242m in 2018.
