PokerStars rolls out female-focused poker community
Flutter Entertainment-owned operator looks to inform policy and strategy with customer-led insights from women

PokerStars has unveiled a female-led poker community as it ramps up its social initiative and inclusivity drive.
Our Voices will act as a platform for the operator’s female community to discuss a wide range of topics.
PokerStars said the discussion that takes place on the platform will be used to “influence” plans for its inclusivity strategy and how the brand positions itself towards women.
The operator intends to explore specific activities and promotions based on platform feedback over how to provide the best experience for female players.
Previously, PokerStars reached out to its female customer demographic through a scattergun approach of various forums and individual feedback, but has now curated a holistic approach to increase engagement.
PokerStars said: “We have created this space so we could listen and learn more as we know this is key to ensuring we can bring activities and promotions that really engage and excite our female players and give you the best experience possible.
“We’ve been doing this by reaching out to female players on various forums and by getting direct individual feedback over the years, which worked well, but we wanted to create somewhere where all of your feedback can be in one place, where more women can get involved, and where we can talk and engage with you on a deeper level and share exciting updates.
“We are committed to getting feedback to see what we can do better, where we can improve, and ultimately enhance the growth of the game for players from all walks of life,” the statement concluded.
Elsewhere, fellow Flutter brand Sky Betting & Gaming revealed a new three-point pledge to broaden its corporate social responsibility footprint.
