Betsson grows B2B portfolio in German sportsbook deal
Stockholm-listed operator inks agreement with Masterpiece Gaming including player account management platform

Betsson has put pen to paper on a sportsbook and igaming platform supply agreement with Masterpiece Gaming Limited ahead of its launch in the German market.
Under the remit of the deal, Betsson will provide its sportsbook technology, customer support, odds, risk management and payment platform to Masterpiece Gaming, as well as its player account management platform (PAM).
As a subsidiary of German media group ProSiebenSat.1, Masterpiece Gaming will offer online sports betting under the brand JackOne, with plans to expand into additional markets in place.
The new B2C operation is set to run a significant media campaign across TV and digital and is expected to launch in Germany ahead of Euro 2020.
The two-year deal is based on a performance product fee and holds the option of a renewal for both parties.
Betsson said the partnership was in line with its long-term growth strategy.
Pontus Lindwall, Betsson AB CEO, said: “This deal proves that we have a competitive sportsbook product that is attractive and in-demand by the market.
“Adding Masterpiece Gaming to our list of B2B sportsbook solution partners confirms our ambition to be a strong supplier on the B2B sportsbook market as part of our growth strategy,” he added.
