Anders Ström increases Kambi stake to 20%
Industry veteran now holds shares worth upwards of £12m as he affirms commitment to Stockholm-listed supplier

Kambi board member Anders Ström has increased his ownership in the Malta-based sports betting provider to nearly 20%.
Via his investment firm, Veralda Group, the Unibet founder and former Kindred Group chair, now holds a 19.57% stake in Kambi.
Via a series of transactions between 27 October and 19 November, Ström was able to add almost 650,000 shares to his portfolio.
Veralda acquired 777,624 shares in Kambi across three batches between 27 and 29 October, 12 and 16 November, and on 19 November.
On 18 November, Veralda sold 125,000 Kambi shares as part of the termination of existing endowment insurance.
Following the transactions, Veralda now holds a net total of 649,624 shares in Kambi worth SEK147.1 million (£12.2m).
Kambi’s share price rose by 1.6% on the Nasdaq in Stockholm today to reach SEK260.40. However, the firm’s stock is down around 50% since hitting an all-time high of SEK535 in April.
Ström was instrumental in the decision to spin off Kambi as an independent entity when he was chair of Kindred in 2014.
Neither Ström nor Kambi have made comments regarding the change to the shareholding.
