Marketing chief Harry Lang departs Buzz Bingo
Industry veteran and author is headed to unnamed company outside the gambling space

Buzz Bingo’s marketing director, Harry Lang, has revealed he is leaving the retail and online bingo operator after 16 months in the role.
In a 480-word post on LinkedIn reminiscing about his past adventures, Lang revealed that he will begin his new role outside the industry next week, but he isn’t yet revealing the company.
Lang, who has spent a total of 16 years in the gambling sector, arrived at Buzz Bingo in October 2020 after three years as managing director of his own agency, Brand Architects.
Prior to this, he worked as interim marketing director at Genting Casinos UK and executive marketing director at Pinnacle Sports.
Other marketing roles included spells at Mecca Bingo, bwin, WMS Gaming. He also previously founded digital marketing agency The Fridge.
During lockdown he authored his own book for those embarking on a career in marketing: Brands, Bandwagons & Bullshit.
He is also a regular contributor to marketing industry trade papers such as Marketing Week and Campaign.
“It’s been quite a ride, but I’m very grateful to have hoarded some awesome memories over 16 years, 10 businesses, many friends,” Lang wrote on LinkedIn.
“I’ve marketed all the betting verticals – casino, bingo, sportsbook, poker, esports, social casino. And, briefly, drone racing.”
He added: “I start my new role outside the industry next week, so more news on that to follow. But for now, thanks to everyone in gaming. It’s certainly not been a dull place to spend half a career.”
