Snaitech tops Italian online betting rankings for 2021
Playtech B2C brand posts GGR of €189.8m as it fends off challenges from Sisal and Goldbet to take top spot

Playtech-owned Snaitech has topped the Italian online betting rankings for 2021 after posting €189.8m in gross gaming revenue (GGR).
Based on GGR, Snaitech took a total market share of 13.16%, slightly ahead of second-placed operator Sisal which had a 12.94% share.
Sisal, which was purchased by Flutter Entertainment in December in a £1.62bn deal, posted GGR of €186.7m for full-year 2021.
PokerStars (13th) and Betfair (17th), the other two Flutter-owned brands to finish in the top 20, recorded a combined GGR of €33.1m and a combined market share of 2.29%.
Goldbet was the final operator to take a podium position after finishing third in the ranking with a GGR of €167.3m and a market share of 11.6%.
Stoke-on-Trent-based bet365 finished in fourth with a GGR of €160.4m and a market share of 11.12% while Entain-owned Eurobet came fifth after posting €154.1m in GGR generating a market share of 10.69%.
Fellow Entain brand bwin ended up in ninth place and William Hill finished in 10th after posting respective GGRs of €29.6m and €22m.
However, basing market share as a percentage of turnover, bet365 outstrips the competition with a 20.23% market share based on turnover of €2.4bn.
It has been rumoured that Snaitech could be one of the assets auctioned off by Playtech if Aristocrat’s £2.1bn offer is rejected at the gaming provider’s shareholder meeting on 2 February.
